Isaiah 53 – ELS Codes

Isaiah 53

A Prophecy of the Messiah…

written some 700 years before the birth of the Messiah, Yeshua of Nazareth

[NOTE: We use the Hebrew self-given name of the Father, YHVH, instead of “the LORD”.]

1 Who has believed our report? and to whom is the plan of YHVH revealed?

2 For he (Messiah) shall grow up before Him (the Father) as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he (Messiah) has no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

3 He is despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we regarded him not.

4 Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did consider him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our sins: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with the whiplashes he took, we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and YHVH has laid on him the sin of us all.

7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opens not his mouth.

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall trace his descendants? For he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it suited YHVH to bruise him. He has put him to grief. When you shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his spiritual descendants, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of YHVH shall prosper in his hand.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their sins.

12 Therefore will I allocate to him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he has poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Yacov Rambsel, a Jewish believer in Yeshua of Nazareth, discovered that the name of every person mentioned in the Renewed Covenant Scriptures (“New Testament”) as being directly involved in the crucifixion and death of our Lord was ENCODED in Isaiah 53 above! These ELS codes (Equidistant Letter Sequences) start at different letters in the Hebrew text, run at different spacings, and in BOTH directions. They occur throughout the Hebrew Tanakh (what Christians call “the Old Testament”), and have been found in significant numbers in NO other literature ever discovered!

He even found the message “My name is Yeshua (spelled Yod shin vav ayin)” – Y’shua shmi – encoded there!

Here are the details:

That this amazing display of superior intelligence and design exists at all, can only be taken as our Father’s unmistakable “signature” as the Author of the Hebrew Tanakh/ “Old Testament”! In the absence of such, this phenomenon is impossible!
